Position Overview
The Application System Administrator will lead, manage, and support critical business applications to ensure good performance, research, and resolve production issues including working with the application vendors technical support as needed.  This role will have responsibility for multiple store operational systems including CrunchTime back-office software, online ordering and 3rd party delivery systems that support our restaurant operation’s needs.  This role will interact daily with internal customers to make sure their needs are being met. 

The Application System Administrator will also be responsible for documenting system configurations, job processes, program modifications and system procedures across all systems.  Additionally, the Application System Administrator will lead new software installations, system testing, configuration changes and updates, as well as a variety of application troubleshooting.  This role will report to the Director, Restaurant Technology.

Responsibilities Include:
·         Perform configuration, administration, deployment, integration, and tuning of software application systems
·         Perform assessment of product enhancements and determine the benefit and impact of vendor changes to the software products
·         Document procedures for resolving issues in the most efficient way
·         Make recommendations to department and operations leadership on process improvement and effective use of the products by operations
·         Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application related issues
·         Coordinate with customers and application vendors on technical issues, estimate time to resolution and updates to concerned parties during issue resolution
·         Communicate effectively with customers on problems and resolution steps and status
·         Open and/or close work orders as needed
·         Maintain system security (user accounts, responsibilities, passwords, etc…)
·         Assist quality assurance in validating changes and perform testing as needed
·         Responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects
·         Have a high level of computer security awareness
·         Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:
·         Ability to think independently, negotiate with grace and stay focused
·         Capacity to communicate clearly with presence
·         Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
·         Flexibility in the face of shifting priorities
·         Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple tasks/projects
·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

 
Education and Experience
·         Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
·         3-5 years of experience successfully supporting business applications, to include end user support, administration, maintenance, and upgrades
·         Knowledge and experience with POS and back-office software, online ordering, and 3rd party delivery systems
·         Solid understanding of core Microsoft technologies
·         Working knowledge of restaurant operations
 

Preferred Experience

·         Experience with restaurant back-office systems such as CrunchTime or Altametrics eRestaurant
